This 9-inch handcrafted brass sculpture depicts Padmavathi Devi seated in a composed frontal posture, measuring 9 inches in height, 5 inches in width, and 3 inches in depth, with a substantial weight of 2400 grams that reflects the density and quality of the casting.
The sculpture has been crafted using traditional lost-wax casting methods, a technique that allows for the level of surface detail visible across the entire piece. The crown is a tall, layered shikhara form characteristic of South Indian iconographic convention, rendered with precision down to its tiered ornamental sections. The goddess is depicted with four arms — the upper two hands holding what appear to be lotuses, while the lower hands are positioned in gestures of blessing and offering.
