A graceful portrayal of Krishna captured in a dynamic standing pose, holding the Sudarshana Chakra — a symbol of protection, righteousness, and divine power. Crafted in traditional panchaloha with a rich wood-tone patina, this 6-inch sculpture carries a warm, antique charm. Perfect for desks, pooja shelves, gifting, or as a spiritual accent in any corner of your home. Meaning: Krishna with the Sudarshana Chakra represents the victory of dharma over negativity and offers blessings of clarity, safety, and inner strength. Care: Wipe gently with a dry cloth; avoid chemicals. Note: At Cosmic Studio, every sculpture is individually handcrafted, ensuring no two pieces are exactly alike. Minor variations in color, texture, and detailing are a natural result of the artisanal process and are considered marks of authenticity. These unique characteristics, along with potential differences in lighting and screen displays, may cause the product to appear slightly different from the images shown.

About This Piece

6″ Krishna with Sudarshana Chakra | Handcrafted Panchaloha | Wood Patina

This 6-inch standing Krishna idol, measuring 6" H x 2.75" W x 2" D and weighing 330 grams, is cast in Panchaloha — the traditional South Indian five-metal alloy — and finished in a warm wood-tone patina that gives the surface a deep, aged copper warmth.

The figure is rendered in a dynamic tribhanga stance, with one leg crossed at the ankle and the weight shifted in a posture that conveys movement and ease simultaneously. The raised right arm holds the Sudarshana Chakra aloft, clearly defined against the composition. The left arm rests at the side in a relaxed but composed position. The face carries a calm, faintly smiling expression, framed by a detailed crown — a tall, layered mukut — and what appears to be a flower ornament at the side of the head. Across the chest, neck, and waist, fine relief work suggests layered jewelry and a draped lower garment with carved folds. The figure stands on a stepped, lotus-patterned circular base with its own decorative detailing. This level of surface articulation — in the jewelry, the crown, the facial features, and the textile folds — reflects the sustained hand-finishing that follows the initial casting, requiring both technical precision and a working knowledge of classical iconographic standards.

In the Vaishnava tradition, Krishna bearing the Sudarshana Chakra is understood as a protector form — the chakra represents the power to cut through ignorance and uphold dharma. It is associated with clarity, moral order, and the removal of obstacles.

Panchaloha is an alloy of five metals — gold, silver, copper, zinc, and iron — used in South Indian temple sculpture for centuries. It is valued for its density, tonal warmth, and its established place in devotional casting traditions.

The wood patina finish gives this piece a rich, muted bronze tone with antique depth. As with all handcrafted work, individual pieces will carry slight variation in surface texture, tone, and detailing — inherent to the process and not a defect.

This sculpture is suited for a puja shelf, a study desk, home altar, or as a considered gift for someone who values traditional craft alongside spiritual meaning.

How We Pack It

Every idol is individually wrapped in soft cloth and nestled in foam casing inside a double-walled corrugated box. We have shipped to 25+ countries without a single breakage complaint.

Orders are dispatched within 2-3 working days. Domestic delivery takes 5-7 days. International shipping takes 10-15 working days via tracked courier.

How to Care For It

Wipe regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid chemical cleaners, acidic solutions, or abrasive pads. For occasional deep cleaning, use warm water and mild soap — dry immediately after.

Brass and Panchaloha naturally develop patina over time. If you prefer the original finish, apply a thin coat of coconut oil monthly.
