Bring home a powerful expression of Shiva’s presence and Nandi’s devotion with this Panchaloha duo combining: Shiva Lingam , handcrafted Panchaloha — The formless, timeless symbol of Shiva’s energy and cosmic foundation. Temple Nandi (handcrafted Panchaloha) — The ever-faithful guardian, always facing Shiva with loyalty and reverence. Each piece is made with devotion using the sacred five-metal alloy (Panchaloha). The Lingams carry a serene, strong energy; Nandi adds a relational, protective dynamic. Together, they create a balance of formless power and devoted presence. Display them on your altar, in a pooja room, or sacred corner. The Lingam anchors energy, and Nandi complements it with steadfast support. Note: At Cosmic Studio, every sculpture is individually handcrafted, ensuring no two pieces are exactly alike. Minor variations in color, texture, and detailing are a natural result of the artisanal process and are considered marks of authenticity. These unique characteristics, along with potential differences in lighting and screen displays, may cause the product to appear slightly different from the images shown.

About This Piece

Shiva Lingam with Gatekeeper – Sacred Pair | Divine Combo Offer

This sacred duo comprises a 3-inch Shiva Lingam with Yoni Peetha and a 2-inch seated Nandi, both cast in Panchaloha, the traditional South Indian five-metal alloy that has long been considered the appropriate medium for consecrated devotional forms. The combined weight of the set is 350 grams, and both pieces carry a warm, burnished copper-brown polish tone visible in the finished surface.

Each piece in this set is individually hand-cast and finished. The Lingam rises from a structured Yoni Peetha with tiered horizontal ridges along its base and a clearly defined gomukha spout, details that require careful attention during both the casting and chasing stages. The Nandi is rendered in a recumbent posture with the head held upright and forward-facing, the body compact and well-proportioned, surface detailing across the torso and face worked by hand after casting. This level of finish on small-scale pieces demands considerable skill, as the tools used are proportionally finer and the margin for error is narrow.

In Shaiva tradition, the Lingam is the primary aniconic form of Shiva — not a representation of a body but of the unmanifest source, the axis around which all creation is organized. Nandi, the sacred bull, is Shiva's gana chief and gatekeeper, always positioned in direct facing toward the Lingam. The theological relationship between these two forms is fundamental to how Shiva temples are structured, making this pairing iconographically complete rather than simply decorative.

Panchaloha is an alloy traditionally composed of gold, silver, copper, iron, and lead or zinc in prescribed proportions. It is valued in South Indian temple craft for its density, its receptivity to fine surface work, and its association with ritual purity. The alloy develops a deep, stable tone over time.

Both pieces carry a hand-polished finish that gives the surface its characteristic warm sheen. As with all handcrafted work, minor variation in tone, surface texture, and detailing between pieces is natural and expected. This set is suited for a home puja room, personal altar, or as a considered gift for a householder establishing a Shaiva worship space.

How We Pack It

Every idol is individually wrapped in soft cloth and nestled in foam casing inside a double-walled corrugated box. We have shipped to 25+ countries without a single breakage complaint.

Orders are dispatched within 2-3 working days. Domestic delivery takes 5-7 days. International shipping takes 10-15 working days via tracked courier.

How to Care For It

Wipe regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid chemical cleaners, acidic solutions, or abrasive pads. For occasional deep cleaning, use warm water and mild soap — dry immediately after.

Brass and Panchaloha naturally develop patina over time. If you prefer the original finish, apply a thin coat of coconut oil monthly.
