The result is visible in the crispness of the crown's tiered form, the layered jewelry across the chest, the textured drapery of the lower garment, and the carefully rendered features of the face, which carries a calm, composed expression. Murugan stands in a straight, upright posture on a tiered temple-style pedestal. The Vel is held centrally, the Seval Kodi — the rooster flag — appears in one of the rear hands, and a raised hand gesture conveys protection.
