Bring courage, devotion, and protection into your home with this 4-inch Standing Hanuman idol. Handcast in the traditional South Indian Panchaloha alloy (five sacred metals), it’s durable, auspicious, and finished with a warm antique sheen. Hanuman is depicted standing upright with folded hands (anjali mudra), symbolising humility and unwavering bhakti. The finely carved crown, ornaments, and tail, along with the gada resting by his side, highlight careful craftsmanship and give the piece a strong, devotional presence. Perfect for puja rooms, entry consoles, work desks, and gift-giving on Hanuman Jayanti, housewarmings, or Tuesdays/Saturdays. Place it in your sacred space to invite strength, focus, and fearless protection every day. Note: At Cosmic Studio, every sculpture is individually handcrafted, ensuring no two pieces are exactly alike. Minor variations in color, texture, and detailing are a natural result of the artisanal process and are considered marks of authenticity. These unique characteristics, along with potential differences in lighting and screen displays, may cause the product to appear slightly different from the images shown.

About This Piece

4″ Standing Hanuman in Anjali Mudra | Handcrafted Panchaloha

This 4-inch standing Hanuman idol is handcast in Panchaloha, the traditional South Indian five-metal alloy, and measures 10cm in height with a footprint of 4cm by 4cm, weighing 230 grams.

The figure is rendered in the anjali mudra — both hands pressed together at the chest in a gesture of reverence — and stands upright on a stepped, tiered base that is itself detailed with incised horizontal banding. The crown rising above the face is structured and layered, flanked by scrolling decorative forms, and the face carries the characteristic simian features of Hanuman rendered with clarity rather than exaggeration. The body shows defined musculature across the shoulders and arms, with draped lower garments falling in folded lines. Ornamental detail runs across the torso and upper arms. The casting captures each of these elements with the kind of fine surface articulation that requires both careful mold work and deliberate hand finishing.

Hanuman is one of the most venerated figures in the Hindu devotional tradition — a deity associated with strength, disciplined service, and absolute loyalty. The anjali mudra specifically emphasises his role not as a warrior in this moment, but as a devotee, and this iconographic choice reflects the theological understanding that Hanuman's power is inseparable from his bhakti toward Rama.

Panchaloha is a sacred alloy composed traditionally of five metals — gold, silver, copper, brass, and iron or zinc — proportioned according to canonical Agamic texts. It has been the preferred material for South Indian temple icons for over a millennium, valued for its density, its warm metallic tone, and its ritual sanctity.

This piece carries a polished finish that brings out the alloy's bright, silvered warmth, visible clearly across the crown and the smooth planes of the torso. Because each idol is individually handcast and finished, minor variation in surface tone and texture between pieces is expected and is a mark of the hand process.

This idol is well suited to a home puja room, a personal altar, or as a considered gift for Hanuman Jayanti or a housewarming.

Shipping & Care

How We Pack It

Every idol is individually wrapped in soft cloth and nestled in foam casing inside a double-walled corrugated box. We have shipped to 25+ countries without a single breakage complaint.

Orders are dispatched within 2-3 working days. Domestic delivery takes 5-7 days. International shipping takes 10-15 working days via tracked courier.

How to Care For It

Wipe regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid chemical cleaners, acidic solutions, or abrasive pads. For occasional deep cleaning, use warm water and mild soap — dry immediately after.

Brass and Panchaloha naturally develop patina over time. If you prefer the original finish, apply a thin coat of coconut oil monthly.
