4″ Standing Hanuman in Anjali Mudra | Handcrafted Panchaloha

This 4-inch standing Hanuman idol is handcast in Panchaloha, the traditional South Indian five-metal alloy, and measures 10cm in height with a footprint of 4cm by 4cm, weighing 230 grams.

The figure is rendered in the anjali mudra — both hands pressed together at the chest in a gesture of reverence — and stands upright on a stepped, tiered base that is itself detailed with incised horizontal banding. The crown rising above the face is structured and layered, flanked by scrolling decorative forms, and the face carries the characteristic simian features of Hanuman rendered with clarity rather than exaggeration. The body shows defined musculature across the shoulders and arms, with draped lower garments falling in folded lines. Ornamental detail runs across the torso and upper arms. The casting captures each of these elements with the kind of fine surface articulation that requires both careful mold work and deliberate hand finishing.

Hanuman is one of the most venerated figures in the Hindu devotional tradition — a deity associated with strength, disciplined service, and absolute loyalty.
