Panchaloha is a mixture of Copper, Zinc, Tin, Gold & Silver.

The form rises in a stepped, pyramidal structure from a tiered temple-style base, with each ascending tier rendered in clean, defined relief. The casting captures the layered geometry of the Meru with precision — the broad lower plinth stepping upward through successive bands before narrowing toward the finial at the crown. Achieving this level of structural definition at this scale requires careful wax modeling and controlled casting, followed by hand-finishing to bring each horizontal register into clarity. The polished surface across the image shows a warm, burnished tone with subtle variation in sheen between the flat planes and the edges of each step.

The Sri Meru is the three-dimensional expression of the Sri Yantra, one of the most significant geometric forms in the Shakta tradition. Where the flat yantra represents the cosmos in two dimensions, the Meru renders it as a sacred mountain, embodying the ascent from the material to the transcendent. It is associated with Lalita Tripura Sundari and is traditionally installed in homes, temples, and places of commerce to invite prosperity, clarity, and protection. Its placement follows specific Vastu guidelines — typically on a clean surface facing east or northeast.

Panchaloha is a consecrated alloy with deep roots in South Indian temple sculpture. The inclusion of five metals — copper, zinc, tin, silver, and gold — is understood in the tradition to carry both material and auspicious properties. The alloy is valued for its density, its warm golden tone once polished, and its long-term structural stability.
