This special form is called Aadi Antha Prabhu—one half is Ganesha, the other half is Hanuman. Hindus pray to Ganesha at the start of anything new, as he is the remover of obstacles—hence “aadi” (first). Hanuman, considered an avatar of Lord Shiva, is believed to remain even after creation dissolves—hence “anta” (end). Together, Aadi + Anta becomes Aadyanta Prabhu, a blessing from beginning to end.

Handcrafted in Brass, this 12.5″ sculpture shows Ganesha’s trunk and body, while the deity’s left hand holds Hanuman’s mace (gada)—a beautiful union of wisdom and strength.
